The Old Greenwich School Parent Teacher Association has put forward an initiative to bring the historical building into the 21st century with modifications and additions beautifying the institution & also making the school be in alignment with the American with Disabilities Act law.
This includes the addition of a new 'wing' of classrooms and space, a more centric relocation of the administrative office within the building, and addressing of water drinking quality, and physical access to each of the three floors.
Through my foundation, I am support of the OGS PTA initiative and seek to actively help with the legal requirement for physical access to all three floors for students who may have physical impairments (wheelchairs), parents with baby strollers, senior citizen grandparents who may visit the school, and students, teachers, and administrative staff with temporary or permanent health conditions which may find going up and down three flights of stairs a challenge.
